Waxing

All waxing treatments at Velvet use a hot wax system, which is applied to the skin and once set is removed, eliminating the need for paper strips.

It is a gentler method of waxing compared to the more well-known strip waxing, and effectively shrink-wraps the hair, causing much less aggravation to the skin than most other hair removal methods, and is particularly great for removing thicker, coarser hair.

This method has been specifically chosen to provide you with an excellent treatment result, with the upmost levels of hygiene.  This includes not carrying out the popular practice of “double dipping” a spatula into the wax pot, which helps to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

 

PLEASE NOTE – a minimum 4 week growth period is required between treatments for effective removal.
